I learned to weld on this piece. It took three years to complete and is made entirely of glavanized pipe cut into tiny bits and electrically glued back together. It took so long, because I kept tearing it apart and welding it back together in slightly different configurations. It got its' name from the citizens of Port Arthur, Texas. I ran a 'Name the Dragon' contest and a play on the towns founders' name got the most entries.
